BUCKSHOT MEADOW FARM

• A nonrefundable deposit of $50.00 is required to hold any buckling or doeling until weaning (10 -12 weeks of age).  Check, cash, CashApp and PayPal are acceptable.  

• Once the buyer has been notified of date for pick-up, arrangements should be made within 7-10 days. Animals not picked up within 1 week of arranged date will be made available to other buyers, and deposits will be forfeited.  Balance is expected before goats leave our property, in cash.

• All kids will have received their CD&T vaccines, Coccidia prevention treatments, and first hoof trim, if needed.  We do not deworm our goats unless indicated by a fecal exam and a low Famacha score, but you are free to deworm according to your protocol once your goat leaves our farm.

• Ours is a closed, clean-tested herd.  Once a goat leaves our farm, all other health care and vaccines will become the responsibility of the buyer.  If a goat dies while in our care, we will refund any deposit or transfer it to another available goat of the buyer’s choice.  Buckshot Meadow Farm reserves the right to refuse or retract any sale if we feel that the prospective home will not be in the best interest of the goat(s).  In such cases, deposits will be returned.  

• A single goat will not be sold to anyone that does not already own goats.  Goats are herd animals and do best with another goat friend.

• When applicable, registration applications will be given at pickup.  Buyers will be responsible for paying any transfers or registrations.  Registerable goats will be tattooed according to ADGA regulations before leaving our farm. Commercial goats will have a scrapies tag.
